“Smokey Embrace” to Honor Volunteer Firefighters

 Toms River, NJ   November 6, 2006 – 24 hours a day the call to action is broadcast to firefighters across the State of New Jersey. 365 days a year that call to save life and property is unselfishly answered.

 It was a raging fire that brought the eye and focus of photo artist Peter Cohen to uncover this “Smokey Embrace” of selflessness in the face of unknown danger that firemen statewide give freely to their communities.

 In honor of their unflinching dedication, photo artist Peter Cohen, the founder of ExplodingEye.com is releasing a limited edition Fine Art photographic print titled “Smokey Embrace” 

 “Smokey Embrace” will be printed by hand in the studio of             Peter Cohen in a strictly limited edition of 250 prints.  

All prints will be 12” x 18” using pigmented archival inks on Premium Lustre finish photographic paper (250gsm). Matting and framing to a finished size of 18” x 24” will be done using Lineco archival hinging tissue, Bainbridge Artcare® 4 ply Alphamat and Bainbridge Artcare® Archival Foamboard. They are acid free, lignin-free and buffered to protect the print. Frames are Nielsen® 117 Arthaus profile in matte black inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the early 1900s. Lastly, TruVue Reflection Control glass will be used to finish and protect the art.

 All prints will be signed and numbered and include a Certificate of Authenticity.  “Smokey Embrace” is valued at $235 (+ tax) and includes free shipping.
